TERMS OF SERVICE These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”) and Layerd Style Platform Ltd (“Layerd Style”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. --- 1. DEFINITIONS Client: A user who books services through the Platform Partner: An independent freelance hairdresser using the Platform Booking: A confirmed appointment made via the Platform Pending Booking: A booking request not yet accepted by a Partner Platform: The Layerd Style website, applications, and services --- 2. PLATFORM ROLE Layerd Style is a technology marketplace only. - Layerd Style does not provide hairdressing services - Layerd Style does not employ Partners - All services are provided by independent Partners Any service agreement is formed directly between Client and Partner. --- 3. ACCOUNTS Users must provide accurate information and keep account credentials secure. Users are responsible for all activity conducted through their account. --- 4. PARTNER STATUS Partners act as independent contractors. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, agency, or partnership relationship. Partners are solely responsible for: - Licensing and certifications - Insurance - Tax obligations - Legal and regulatory compliance --- 5. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES Clients must: - Provide accurate booking information - Ensure a safe service environment - Disclose allergies, medical conditions, or risks --- 6. BOOKING, CANCELLATION & NO-SHOW POLICY Layerd Style operates a time-based marketplace. Confirmed bookings reserve exclusive time and travel for Partners. --- 6.1 CLIENT CANCELLATION Refunds depend on the time before the scheduled booking start: - More than 24 hours: 100% refund - 3–24 hours: 90% refund (10% fee) - 1–3 hours: 50% refund (50% fee) - Less than 1 hour: No refund - Pending booking (not accepted): 100% refund --- 6.2 CLIENT NO-SHOW A Client No-Show occurs if the Client: - Is unavailable at the agreed location - Does not respond within a reasonable time Refund: 0% (no refund) --- 6.3 PARTNER CANCELLATION If a Partner cancels a confirmed booking: Client: - 100% refund Client Compensation: - Cancellation within 24 hours: 10% coupon - Cancellation within 6 hours: 20% coupon Partner: - Cancellation within 1 hour results in one strike --- 6.4 PARTNER NO-SHOW If a Partner fails to attend without notice: Client: - 100% refund - 20% coupon Partner: - One strike recorded Repeated violations may result in reduced visibility, suspension, or removal. --- 6.5 PLATFORM DISCRETION Layerd Style may investigate abuse, fraud, or misuse and make final determinations regarding refunds, compensation, or enforcement actions. --- 7. FEES & PAYMENTS Platform fees and commissions are disclosed before payment confirmation. --- 8. REFERRALS, COUPONS & PROMOTIONS Referral rewards, discounts, and coupons are promotional benefits, not cash equivalents, and may be modified or discontinued at any time. --- 9. REVIEWS Layerd Style may remove misleading, abusive, or fraudulent reviews. --- 10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY All Platform content, software, and branding belong to Layerd Style Platform Ltd. --- 11. TERMINATION Layerd Style may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, abuse, or legal risk. --- 12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY To the maximum extent permitted by law, Layerd Style is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Total liability shall not exceed fees paid to Layerd Style in the previous 12 months. --- 13. GOVERNING LAW These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
